There is a ton of new pictures and information on Platinum that has been released. Some cool things are:

• All Gyms within the Sinnoh region have had major makeovers.
  
• There will be a time limit on the time you are allowed to play within the new Wi-Fi Square.
  
• The Wi-Fi Square is decorated based on the different types of Pokemon.
  
• You can record special battles to share with friends latter.

As soon as I can I'll create pages on all of these new aspects with more information and pictures.

The first picture (Top most.) is of the new Wi-Fi lobby. The next picture (Bottom left.) is of the new Wallot machine that you use to make poffins. And the last picture (Bottom right.) is of the new GTS.

Pokémon Platinum is set for a September 13th 2008 release in Japan

The Battle Frontier returns and takes place in the Fight Area in Sinnoh. The only place that has been confirmed for the Battle Frontier is the Battle Tower.

The Wi-Fi aspects of the game have been expanded with various areas and upgrades to old features. The new Wi-Fi area can hold up to 20 people at one time.

Creating Poffins have changed, and now involves the Swalot machine. This can also be done over WiFi in the new WiFi area.

The Battle Recorder allows you to record battles and share them with your friends. This is done at the new Global Trade Station in Jubilife City.

Shaymin’s Sky Forme has the ability of Serene Grace. It seems to be stronger in Speed and Special Attack and knows the move Air Slash.

Giratina's Origin Forme has the ability of Levitate.

New sprites for each Pokémon!

There is also an international police force that is hunting Team Galactic.
